6 June - Vila Cha to Sao Pedro de Rates - Stage 2 - 21 km

Wandered north on the boardwalk and then onto the beach itself. Very difficult walking on the steep dunes. Thank goodness for walking sticks.

Reached Rates. Old albergue. Found a bar for coffee and pastry. Slept. 

Made friends with Spanish Pepe. Went for dinner together – had fish. Joined by Irish Mary. Good evening.
